We wanted something to watch TV in case our cable went out during bed weather. Rocketfish products are the best. I can't say enough about these cables. I suppose you could use them for other cable fittings as long as they fit correctly like for cable TV. Glad we made the purchase of this 6' cable, it's perfect for the area where the antenna is located.
