It made quick and easy to connect. Now, when I'm watching a movie, it sounds like I'm at the theater. And when I'm playing my Playstation 5, I hear sounds that I could not hear before.

It's much sturdier than the one that was included with my soundbar system. It fit my LG soundbar and TV perfectly. I was able to connect the sound settings quickly.. The cable length is great as well.

Was not for sure if it was the receiver or the optical cable. So I went with the cheaper option of replacing the cable first. Havent had any problem since. Just hope these last for 20 plus years like my other ones did.

Good product

Last time it was the optical cable. Ran down to Best Buy and bought this. My fault in thinking a 4 foot cable could make a 5 foot span with creativity. Went back and exchanged easily for an 8 foot cable & paid the difference.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When the very large Samsung HDTV unexpectedly stopped working one evening it took an hour or so to determine the Optical Audio Cable somehow got damaged - sliced actually, clean through. Fortunately, Best Buy had a replacement cable available in stock for immediate purchase. Yay - Best Buy and Rocket Fish saved what could have been an ugly scene from occurring. Still, no clue as to how the original cable got cut but, at least Mom was able to watch her favorite cooking show without getting Knives Out. NOTE: when installing this cable, make certain the protective cap on each end is first removed. The cable works much better this way.
