Excellent connectors for more current equipment.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this set of optical audio cables to connect (on one end) to a sound bar that I purchased over 10 years ago. In those days, the optical audio connection was essentially a square opening. If you examine the Rocketfish connectors, these newer connectors are not perfectly square so that although they will fit nicely with newer connectors, the Rocketfish will not fit snugly with older connectors. I believe that the sound quality of the Rocketfish audio cable was better, but unfortunately the connections on my old sound bar faced downward and the cable would, over time, fall out.
