The picture is just amazing, much better than with the HDMI cables alone. Our setup - HDMI attached to Cable & Optical Cable to DVD. We didn't think it would make a difference, but it does. We have old TV with 720 and it looks like 1080! Sharp and clear and sound is crystal.

I have rocketfish for my optic cables to HDMI - no issues at all! highly recommend.
