The Sony Roku TV warns that all optical connections are stereo only. HUH? so cannot get surround or sub? Then, although the optical cable fit the TV, it did not fit the socket on the Onkyo receiver! so I could not use the optical even if I wanted to sacrifice surround sound. What's up? But the optical cable was excellent on some other equipment, and Rocketfish makes quality gear, so .. there you have it. Check the connection ports before you buy!

And.... nowhere in the instructions does it tell you "remove the caps" before trying to install." Returning to the store was the only way I found out (via a sales person) of the caps.
