Recently purchased a sound bar for our tv because of my hearing loss and could not hear the tv without turning the volume way up. I did not have the correct HDMI connection on the tv so I had to go with the Optical Audio Cable. The end result was great sound at a lower volume. I can now hear what is being said with background music or sporting events.

We recently purchased a sofa that has multimedia capabilities. When we connected it via bluetooth, we noticed there was a delay in the audio. We purchased this cable and it has worked wonderfully! We just ran it under a rug across the room and attached it to our tv's optical audio port and no problems at all. Would buy again if needed.

Cable worked well. One problem that we did encounter was the optical output on the TV had too little clearance for the diameter of the cable end outside jacket. Slight cutting away of the plastic cabinet where the cable plugs in solves the problem.

Got this as a replacement to EHDMI for my soundbar for better audio quality and to free up an HDMI port. Works great, can easily recomend if you don't need a long cable but want a quality one.

Recently I decided I wanted to drive the audio off of the TV. I had an Apple TV unit and played Youtube content on the screen, but I wanted better audio. I used this cable from the Audio Out on my LG Smart TV to the back of my Sony Theater system. Now I can watch Youtube music videos and have some seriously good audio! I just turn down the TVs volume and crank up the theater volume to avoid the subtle audio latency between the two signals. Love it...
