Ive been using this Rockfish optical audio cable to connect my tv to a soundbar and receiver , and it delivers clean reliable digital audio with zero interference. The installation was straightforward, just plug it into the the tousling ports and fits snugly most modern devices without wobbling.

There's not much to say about this cable. It's an optical audio cable that simply gets the job done. I have had no issues with it since I connected my soundbar, in terms of audio quality or audio/video synchronization. The only thing I would recommend is checking your audio needs before deciding to go with optical vs HDMI. Apparently, you may lose some functionality with regard to different sound modes and equalizer functions when connecting a soundbar, even if both products are from the same manufacturer. So, before you purchase ANY optical audio cable, do a bit of research regarding your TV and soundbar. I looked into it, and have decided to switch to HDMI, just as soon as I do the research and determine the optimal cable manufacturer and model.

I purchased this Toslink optical audio cable from Best Buy about two weeks ago, and I’m really impressed with its performance. The build quality is excellent sturdy connectors and a solid feel overall. I used it to connect my soundbar to my TV, and the audio is crystal clear with zero distortion or lag. Setup was super easy, and the 4-foot length is just right for my setup. Definitely a great value for the price. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable optical audio cable!

Worked just as intended to connect my Bose Soundbar to my TV. I haven’t been able to test it with any other devices but I’m assuming that it will work fine with them too. Better audio quality vs Bluetooth connection.

My recent JBL soundbar purchase was complete by also picking up this inexpensive optical cable, My TV is an older Samsung flatscreen with no eARC capability so I bought this cable to complete the connection. It was the easiest plug & play setup ever as I literally connected the wire, plugged in the soundbar and subwoofer to electrical outlets, and the TV immediately detected the soundbar as an audio source, So if you have an older TV with no eARC connection get yourself this inexpensive optical cable and enjoy crystal clear audio for yourself!

Easy to connect. Sound quality far superior with sound bar. Right price. Right length.

The design is excellent. The wire feels like it is quality, and is slightly stiffer than other optical cables I've used; feels like it will last. The metal ends are substantial and comfortable. When you are reaching around a television or component where there is no direct line of vision to plug it in, the metal ends are easy to maneuver and turn as necessaey for correct alignment between plug and socket.

This optical cable works exactly as expected and delivers excellent sound quality. The connection is strong and secure, and it instantly improved the audio clarity between my TV and sound system. There’s no interference or signal loss, and setup took just seconds. It’s well-built, durable, and does its job perfectly. For such a simple accessory, it made a noticeable difference in my overall audio experience. Highly recommend for anyone setting up a sound system.

Crystal clear sound and easy to plug in and that’s it works great

4 feet was the perfect length and $20 the perfect price. Connectors snapped firmly into both components and it performs as advertised without issue. Even feels like a quality item. Why spend more when there’s no benefit?

When my new 4K TV was installed the ARC (Audio Return Channel) would not work. This was probably because my new TV is a different brand from my home theater equipment. This optical digital audio cable provides the best alternate audio connection between the TV and my 5.1 home theater and the surround sound works like a champ. I have read that a longer length of this type of cable does not affect sound quality and I need this 12 foot length to be sure the cable is not too tight when I move equipment. (If you have a DVR be sure to select Dolby Digital in the DVR's settings. Otherwise you might not get 5.1 sound.)

I recently purchased the Rocketfish 25' Toslink Optical Audio Cable and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. Optical audio is likely the best way to transmit state of the art sound from a video source to an older sound system has hat has optical audio but not HDMI. in this case an LG C9 to an old Yamaha Rv1 with an 8.1 speaker set up. Bass sounds from Netflix and Prime movies are once again shaking the room through a ML woofer and Anthony Gallo Nucleus speakers providing immersive surround sound. The 4’ length is great for connecting the cable box but a little tight for the screen connection so make sure you purchase the right length for your setup. These connected no issues and the packaging was earth friendly (no plastic). Bought two.
