This cable worked right the first time and the picture quality/ sound quality are awesome. From the moment you plug it into both components, they go to word I would definitely recommend this cable.

WHAT A GREAT PRODUCT

I went to Best Buy and told them my problem. They asked if my receiver had an optical port. I bought the system about 8 years ago from Best Buy and did not know. My wife took a picture of the back of the unit, text it to me, and the port was there. I attached the optical cable to the TV and receiver and the sound is phenomenal.

Recently went from a cable box to streaming with a smart TV and my sound was no longer going through the HDMI cord. This was an easy install and the sound is great.
