Needed to order this because the new 4k tv does not have RCA output jacks. Using this cable from tv to a Bose system greatly improves the sound of the tv.

Six-foot cable was too short and of course a 12 foot cable was too long that need the eight footer just right.

No problems so far & I've been using it since I got it. All I needed was to hook my TV to my soundbar. So in that regards it accomplished my objective flawlessly. But I would Definitely recommend a higher quality Audio Optical cable for Bigger sound systems with a lot more speakers than I had to deal with.
