The newer TVs have fairly poor speakers and have had to upgrade all of our units with a sound bar. The optical connection is the only way I could get a couple of the TVs hooked up. So far, great sound.

Cable works very well. Higher rated cables are well worth it. They should last we’ll beyond what ever new technology is around the corner.

Changed out the wiring on one of the TVs. Made the connection E-Z.

I used this cable to link my Samsung TV to my Denon Home Theater, which I also bought from Best Buy in prior years. The plug fits snugly with a click. Just don't forget to remove the tiny plastic covers from each end of the cable first (blush)! Rocketfish is a BestBuy brand and when it comes to digital cables, there's no reason to pay more for Monster, IMHO.

Needed an 8-foot audio cable to connect to my TV. This did the trick. Works great and love the fact that it comes in different sizes. Didn't need a 10-footer and the 8-footer worked great!

worked great hooking up the insignia soundbar. just remember to take the rubber off the tip, i felt kinda dumb when I realized thats why it wouldn't plug in!

I couldn't get the Amazon and Netflix audio to transmit through my surround sound speaker system. I called Geek Squad and they suggested I watch it through my "Smart" dvd blu ray player, which worked. But then that stopped working so I bought and installed the Rocketfish Toslink Optical Audio Cable and problem solved. Everything works great. The installation was so easy - just plug it in the respective port on the tv and receiver and you are set - good to go!
