The plug fits snugly with a click. Just don't forget to remove the tiny plastic covers from each end of the cable first (blush)! Rocketfish is a BestBuy brand and when it comes to digital cables, there's no reason to pay more for Monster, IMHO.

Unable to add receiver as equipment to tv, so the cable was useless. Considering returning it.
