Excellent optical audio cable. I've always trusted Rocketfish, and this product does exactly what you need. It's a bit less expensive than some competitors' offerings - but don't let that make you nervous. This is a high quality, reliable product.

Optic cable is great for playing tv sound through speakers.

Sound bar for LG TV had stopped working so I took a chance that it was the cable. It was!

4' long cable, easy to plug in. Quality seems to be very good, feels very well constructed. Took me a while to get the audio working (forgot to disconnect the standard audio jack - Doh!) Very happy with the quality of the audio, significantly louder than it was before. Used to have the audio sent at 20, now it's set at 10.

Purchased to connect DVD player to sound bar. Prior to purchase had to disconnect HDMI cord (cable box to sound bar cord) & plug DVD HDMI into sound bar & then undo it all to watch cable again. This cord allows me to hsve both devices connected simultaneously & just use the tv remote to switch from tv (HDMI 1) to DVD on the screen. Easy fix to an annoying issue!!

This is my first buy of a Rocketfish - 8' Optical Audio Cable, and at first I was little bit skeptical. Then again, when I tried it out, it outperformed even the one that originally came with the product I it for. There could be many factors that are different, but what I observed is the cable has gold connectors at each end.

New TV. New surround sound. What's this optical audio thing? Optical did wonders when they upgraded my internet, so it must be good. Gotta do this! Know those notices on products like, "Bolts not for human consumption."? Ever wonder who that's for? Welp! I think I found out ... Could not get the cable to plug into my TV! Wasn't going to happen, no way, no how! What thu ... ?! Went to the TV, and the sound manufacturer's sites. No help there. Still... there's gotta be a trick I'm missing ... Ended up on YouTube ... These cables need a BIG notice on the box! "Remove protective end caps before inserting." (DOH!!) Plugged in Very easily (without those little caps)! Sound is Amazing! 5 Stars Overall! I subtracted one star from "Ease of use", but that's on ME for not knowing any better. (Sorry!)

Purchased this based on recommendations from other customers who also purchased the Insignia 2.0 channel mini soundbar. The quality of sound is fantastic. Plugs easily into TV and soundbar. Would highly recommend.

This Audio Optical Cable is just what we needed to connect our new Sony Bravia TV from BestBuy with our "oldie but a goodie" Yamaha receiver with surround sound for awesome sound quality for TV viewing. This was easy to connect and sounds great!

This product is it good extension cable for hooking up your Bluetooth speaker it worked well for me it should for you so if you need an extension for your Bluetooth speaker try this product out it should work well for you.

I purchased this for a surround sound system that we bought during Black Friday. It was an inexpensive Samsung with a DVD player. This cord works great and produces better than the last cheap surround sound system that we had. Glad I went with this cord, and the length is perfect. Save your ties if you don’t need the whole 12’, I only needed 8’.

Bought a Yamaha receiver w/bluetooth feature which was incompatible with an older Panasonic plasma TV. No sound to partial sound output. After days of researching, found the solution! Problem solved. Nice sturdy cables and competitive pricing.
