But I had to return it because I did not realized this specific product cable was spiraled like the old style home base telephone receiver cable which may the cable very heavy just not ideal for my need, I needed the straight 3.5 mm audio cable

Didn't work with Galaxy S3

I plugged it up to my computer at work and it didn't work. I plugged it into my car - it didn't work. Just to make sure it was not my phone, I got a dollar store cord and plugged that up in the car and it worked. I ended up giving this cord to my sister to use. She has a Galaxy S5 and it worked. Additionally, the cord is described as having a nine foot length. This cord is coiled very tight. So it will only reach a nine foot length if I were to work very hard to uncoil it. It was a nice idea in theory - having the ability to recoil, but for me it didn't work.
