My iPhone connects to it quickly and I am listening to music. The only downside is that I have to remember to turn it off before I leave my office. Otherwise the phone plays all my media in my office and I end up having to go back downstairs, etc. Limited range due to Bluetooth, but I get along fine.

When I’m sitting on my back patio, about 20ft. away from the device, that’s about as far as I can get with my iPad or iPhone before it loses its connection. In other words, it really has about a 20-25 ft. reach for normal, real-life application. As long as that reach will work for you, it’s a great product.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being an owner of the previous apt-x based model BTR315 and having been impressed with that model's ability to accurately reproduce digital content, I was looking forward to seeing an improvement in that respect with this new apt-x HD based model BTR319. Unfortunately, when paired with the apt-x HD capable LGV30, this new model produced much less transparent output than did the previous BTR315, at least with 44.1KHz/24 Bit source material (and I'm talking measured transparency here, too, not an opinion based upon subjective hearing). Realizing that my poor test results "could" have also been the result (all or in part) of a flawed implementation of the apt-x HD codec within the LGV30, I set about to test the transparency of the new BTR319 using an older apt-x based MOTO X so that I could compare those results with the relatively good results I had previously measured with the MOTO X and the older BTR315. Unfortunately, my MOTO X wouldn't even connect to the BTR319 so I was unable to perform that second test. The combination of the poor transparency results with the LGV30 and the fact that the MOTO X couldn't even connect to this new model (when it connected easily to the previous model) led me to return the item for refund, which BestBuy accommodated without hesitation.

Affordable fix to add Bluetooth to older stereo
