Worked like a charm… solid connection and has optical out which is exactly what i was looking for….

product worked for 1 use out of box has not worked since. would not buy again.

There are a lot of good bluetooth receivers out there for an audio stack, and even more bad ones. This one falls towards the good side. I thought it would be a bit overpriced, since I expected sound more akin to the cheapest ones on the market, but it's overall got decent quality; my music was largely as I expected it to be and it's a great, easy way to digitize an old system. I can't say I've compared it to a ton of bluetooth receivers, but it sounds good enough for me to hold on to. The bluetooth also has enough range for my house, though it's admittedly not a large house. It travels through walls well enough, including outdoors (I have structural brick). I'm ambivalent on the size; sometimes bigger is nicer but it doesn't seem like it'll cause any problems here, other than potentially being a little harder to fit into a stereo stack. The one major flaw I found is that it will sometimes POP on connection; and it's sometimes pretty loud regardless of what volume you have things set to. Volume on your system may also vary; while I have a bunch of line level devices, the volume output of this differs greatly. I'd arguably give this a 3. 5 if I could, because I'm not fond of the popping... but I would rather round up to a 4.

I was looking for something affordable and uncomplicated to make my new Samsung TV compatible with my older Klipsch speakers for a better quality sound when listening to music. Does the job beautifully. Exactly what I was looking for!

Works great. Very simple to set up. Sending the output via the Toslink output to my DAC then to my main stereo. The sound is great, connects easily to any device and small enough to put in my rack with my other components. Light blinks when in pairing mode (as soon as it is turned on) and stays solid when paired. Been able to walk to the other side of my partially finished basement while connected and haven't lost the signal. (Has a gypsum wall - non insulated - between me and the unit!!) Great value, paid a fraction of what some of the other brands are charging. Looking to buy a couple more for my other stereos in the house!

I bought this bluetooth connection for my garage stereo so i could use my music from my phone. I have to say this was an awesome product. I have actually used my phone from inside the house and played music from my phone aprox 30 feet away. I liked this so much I purchased another one for my livingroom stereo. It was probably one of the easiest devices ive connected to with my phone. I highly sugest this Bluetooth attachment for all your older stereos. It was easy to hook up and within less than 10 min you can hook it up and enjoy your favorite streaming music station or to play music you have saved on your phone.

I got to this for my TV so i could use my headset I already had. When i connected it to my TV which was easy by the way it worked the way i wanted it instantly. I couldn't imagine it working better. Its like a wireless headphone jack for my TV.

Not all receivers and amplifiers have Bluetooth onboard. That was my case. And older ones that do may not be up to date performance wise. Bluetooth has changed over the years. This Rocketfish Bluetooth Audio Receiver is a fine example of Bluetooth today. From my standpoint, the audio quality is excellent. Any latency between audio and video is impossible to notice when playing off my phone or tablet. But, latency will probably depend on the device that is transmitting to the Rocketfish Receiver. In other words, your results might differ from mine. Overall, I’m recommending the Rocketfish Bluetooth Audio Receiver.

Performs well for AAC, aptx LL and aptx HD. The DAC sounds much better than my old BT receiver, the link up is quicker, and the range is much improved. There are units available that also do aptx Adaptive or LDAC (some older units from 1Mii used to do both, now it's just LDAC) that promise better sound than this unit provides. These units also likely provide a better DAC if that's important to you. For the money (mine was open box priced) this is a solid unit. I use the optical output only into my receiver and it sounds great.

I had a few of these Bluetooth receivers over the years that required special apps to work with higher fidelity and they didn't last very long. This Rocketfish adapter was very easy to set up up and doesn't require any special apps to operate. I have it hooked up to an older Yamaha receiver and it has great fidelity and ease of operation.

Performed as promised. Easy hookup a bit pricey but does the job!

Finally, after years of having a cable to my I pad or cell phone, now I don’t have to walk all the way to the back of my garage to change the music on my old stereo receiver with surround sound in my garage. The other options for this same type of technology are expensive, the rocket fish rf -btr319 does the same thing at a fraction of the price,and the sound quality is great, I can’t tell the difference between my I pad with the cable and the Bluetooth rocket fish. I would highly recommend this to you old school stereo reciever having guys.

I do work as a solo musician - this blue tooth music receiver serves me well when I'm working with a DJ who will let me work through his/her system. It will channel my tracks through the DJ massive sound system and I only have to bring my instrument and microphone. Sound quality, ease of use, and dependability are awesome! I would definitely recommend! Hope this helps someone out who does what I do.

This is essentially the same as the old Bluetooth receiver, but with much higher Bluetooth bitrate. It works incredibly smoothly, as it should. Bluetooth 5.0 gives excellent performance range and reliability. I could tell a difference in quality between wired and the old Bluetooth receiver, but with AptX HD, the quality is seemingly the same. Has an excellent range. It comes with male RCA to female 3.5mm and a 3' 3.5mm cable, but I had to purchase the optical separately. Great affordable solution to adding Bluetooth capabilities to existing equipment.

This tiny little inexpensive device saved me from having to buy a new surround sound receiver for the speakers that are built into our new house! Added Bluetooth to my old receiver! Sounds great and is accessible from my phones, Tv, and computers

This is an amazing little gadget! You can use this with modern stereo systems as well as retro/vintage systems! Great sound quality and connectivity. I have already purchased 3 of them as gifts!

I really love this thing as an aux to Bluetooth adapter. It's small enough for use in the car just mount it anywhere. Sounds great. Easy to pair. Highly recommend it!

Have an older stereo / record player from the 70’s that I love but wanted to have the option to play Bluetooth from my phone to the stereo. This option has worked well for that. It is a bit quieter than normal radio or records when playing so the volume will need to be adjusted up but was the best route to go if you didn’t want to purchase a new receiver.

didn't want to get rid of my older Onkyo receiver that I got used to using but wants bluetooth function. Its very user friendly, cheap & works perfectly
