Easy plug and play adaptor. Works just as it should.

This adapter does not go up to 1440p, be wary buyers. Of course it says the maximum resolution on the box but not on the website.

I tried to connect my PS4 using the DVI but didn't work for me. It's a simple product which I'm sure would've work if I tried it on something else.

I needed this adapter and it fits the bill. No complaints about it, it does the job as designed for the price...

I bought this because my work laptop only has an HDMI port but my monitor only has a DVI plug. It works like you'd expect, but the connector is a little heavier than you'd think and I seem to be bending the HDMI port on my computer a little bit. While not a huge deal, it seems like a year of having this thing plugged in will start to loosen the port and I'll start experiencing video issues. It's happened before with other plugs, so I'm just a little worried about future issues.

I recently bought a Wacom CINTIQ drawing tablet for my daughter. I didn't check to see what ports were available on her laptop. When the tablet arrived I found out it has an HDMI input, and I needed an adapter that took DV-I output from the laptop and fed into and HDMI input device. Well, this works great! It would also do well if you want to go from DV-I output on a laptop or PC and you want it to display on a big screen TV which has HDMI input...

Purchased to make my HDMI TV connect with my computer and it worked great.

DVI vs VGA? My experience is VGA over DVI when connecting older computer to a new 4K tv. Best Buy swapped it out for me. thank you.

Unit I purchased was defective-- I believe there should be some addt'l. stability in design. -- My observation: cable head design (once attached) to this 'adaptor' unit is much too heavy-- the 'weight-bearing' part of the very much smaller adapter 'plug-in' -- is required to sport a unit that I believe is too heavy. . Within one day the adapter immediately failed at the seam. Therefore- the electrical connection from the monitor to the PC failed-- It was necessary for me to make another 120 mile round-trip into a nearer 'Best-Buy' to secure another unit. -- Unit was x-chg'd for same apparatus w/ salesperson advising me that the unit I purchased obvously was a 'factory-defect" -- I believe here must be a better, more stable way for 'design' to correct this what I call 'weight-support' issue. I remain apprehensive re. stability of the new adapter. Hope my review reaches correct 'ears'.

Read the fine print, not bi-directional. Was not able to use to go from DVI on PC to HDMI on monitor

I used this adapter to connect my Apple TV HDMI cable to an older TV that only had a DVI connection. This product provided the connection I needed. It provided an excellent picture quality from the HDMI cable. However, as stated on the packaging (which I did not read when I purchased the product), it does not carry the audio signal.

I purchased this DVI-to-HDMI Adapter because I had purchased a new PC which included both VGA and HDMI outputs. This adapter would allow me to use my existing DVI-D Monitor and cable with the HDMI output on the new PC. However, when the PC arrived, I discovered that, in addition to the VGA and HDMI outputs, it also had a DVI-D output, so I returned the adapter without opening it.

I actually bought this to convert an HDMI output from a laptop to a DVI cable that leads to a ceiling mounted projector...kind of the opposite for how it's intended to be used. Fortunately, it works perfectly for what we needed.

Works well, but user should be sure of how they want to use device to ensure compatibility.

IT WAS THE WRONG SIZE AND HAD NO OTHER USE FOR IT SO I RETURNED IT

I bought this to replace another connector that I had. The old one kept falling out and bent too easily. In the end it could not connect well so image quality was poor. This kind of connector needs to be small (so other wires do not knock it out) and it need to make a very secure, tight connection. This one so far does the trick. Ask me in a year if I'm still happy!

The problem with this adapter is that the shape and width don't allow it to fit properly when connected. Many devices have ports/jacks/inputs that are too close to each other leaving just enough room for thin cables. This adapter should be no wider than the width of the cable at each end.

Expensive but needed to convert from HDMI to DVI for a new laptop.

WORKS AS INTENDED. Relatively high priced for so much competition online

The product works but is 4x more than cables you can get online.
