Works fine, but poorly designed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can say that this adapter works fine for the purpose of adapting an HDMI cable to its DVI counterpart. This said, it still has some major flaws. The way this adapter is designed causes a row of metal contacts inside it tear off the circuit board as a result of the weight of the adapter and any cord attached to it, essentially rendering this device broken. To boot, the $20 price tag is exorbitantly high for something as simple as this device. In summary steer clear of this adapter and instead look for something sturdier and cheaper.

Save Your Money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a few stuff from Rocketfish and this adapter is one of them... but had I not needed to meet short-noticed deadlines each time, I would have never purchased any of them. It's possible to find alternatives for a far more cheaper price and work exactly the same. For example: I've needed to purchased more adapters since; and let me tell you, it's a lot more satisfying spending less than $3 instead of $19.99 for basically the same thing. Shop at Best Buy, but stay away from Rocketfish.

Did not work well for my desktop to tv connection

(GeForce GTX 260) My new tv (LG 47" LA6200) does not have VGA or DVI inputs so i used this adapter, the screen flickered randomly and had constant blue shading in the picture. I changed all of my drivers, used another graphics card and still did the same thing. I intend on returning this ASAP.
