Metal piece on the end does tend to bend if you are not cautious with control handling when charging cord is plugged in.

Turning off rumble temporarily fixed it, but it will still intermittently disconnect.

My rating is based solely on the suitability of this cable for use with PS4 controllers. I tested this cable with my PS4 Pro with two DualShock 4 CUH-ZCT2 controllers. The micro USB socket on a DualShock 4 is recessed slightly (the ridge above and to the sides of the port). The size of the plastic strain relief on the micro USB end of the cable is too large to plug into the controller fully. This results in the controller losing connectivity constantly when communicating over USB (which also shuts off the controller, so you need to press the PS button to turn the controller back on). The controllers on a PS4 communicate by Bluetooth by default, even with a USB cable plugged into it (which only supplies power when using Bluetooth). To test the USB communication of a cable, you need to either boot to safe mode (press and hold the power on the PS4 until the second beep) or go into Settings -> Devices -> Controllers -> Communication Method -> Use USB Cable.

The cable would constantly start charging the controller and stop over and over again despite sitting on a table, not moving at all. I'd reccomend a different brand cable!
