Only works in the "tilt down" condition.

However, the "holding power" of the tilt-up feature is pretty weak. And I had the darn knob thingie tightened as far it could go. So, if you only need a "permanent" tilt down feature, then this will work fine. Gonna move this item upstairs for a bedroom application. Be well, and Let's Go, Brandon!!

I already knew it quality construction was excellent. I wanted a mount that would let me rotate the new 39" flat-screen TV thru a wall opening when needed to view it in either of two rooms. Great product and very easy to mount. Plenty of extra component parts to facilitate it fitting just about any flat-screen within its weight restrictions.
