    easily installed the wall mount to a stud under a sheetrock wall; however, the unit's up and down tilt did not function properly. it would not hold the tv flat, on a 90 degree angle. we had to inset a shim to keep it on a flat plane, or the tv would slide all the way to the 80 degree angle. when called the manufacture, they could not assist with what the cause of, or solution to the problem was. and yes, the tightening knob was tight.

    This mount worked great for a difficult location in a guest bedroom. It the range of motion is a little tight for a 37" TV, but still tilted and angled fine to provide a better view.
