The apartment I live in has metal studs so it was necessary to mount it differently. It was necessary to go to Lowe’s and get a toggle bolt by the name Toggler. Then you need to drill 1/2 inch holes into the metal studs and push the attachments into the holes so the bolts could be attached. It took extra time that could have been solved with better directions.

No issues with staying up. If your really good at mounting the TV without help then this one is a good one to use.

My mount tilts down and seems like it can’t handle the weight of my tv. Just make sure you know it’s a good mount before purchasing.
