My TV was 75” and this product is made for 40”-75.” It makes total sense that I should have purchased one that is capable of holding a larger TV. My TV pushes this one to the limits and when the tv is pulled out from the wall or to the side, it will not stay centered— it drops down on the right side especially.

Installation of Wall Plate in Plaster

It is VERY over engineered for a 40" tv. Consider getting something smaller if you have a 40" or close tv. I installed it into plaster and nothing is going to separate from this wall. This unit adjusts very little up and down. Also, when you screw the plate into the wall, first mark the top 2 holes using the template, drill these 2 holes, then screw in and level the wall plate using the top 2 screws, then mark, drill, and screw in the bottom two screws.

Feels secure but a little unstable. Wasn’t too difficult to assemble. Overall, I would recommend.
