There are however two issues that some will find potentially unappealing. One: it move very freely with very little pressure. Being able to move a 65" tv with your fingertips will be cool to some, and disconcerting to others. Two: it does have to be balanced. Many mounts I've used need little balancing and are level provided your mount is level. This is not the case with this mount. One of the three mounts I purchased had to be manipulated quite a bit to get the tv level. This wasn't too big of an issue for me, but will be for someone who just wants an easy, effortless install. There are other swivel mounts that come completely balanced out of the box, this is not always one. *If it was completely balanced out of the box and required no manipulating during the mounting process it would have got 5 stars.

When yours studs aren't where you want them...

We were centering our tv over the fireplace and of course the studs were not in the perfect spot. So this mount allowed us to attach to the studs and then use the sliding function to center it. Perfect.
