Was trying to hook my Occulus rift to my TV threw my computer. How ever to have my computer work on my TV it needed to the HDMI cord in the GPU HDMI port, the same port the VR needs. Using the DVI to HDMI adapter I was able to connect both my computer and VR to the TV

This HDMI-to-DVI adapter is something I didn't know I needed for my 2011 Hp computer. (Never heard of such a thing.) Had to look between all the other plug-ins to lern where it plugs in, but once found, it my TV worked great! totally lost without it,

My Toshiba projection tv is 16 years old, a d doesn't have an HDMI port but does have a DVI port. TV repair man explained that DVI lost the battle to HDMI but there are a lot of Tv's with it. It literally gives the TV a better picture. Highly recommend this item..

Purchased this to add an external monitor to my laptop. It works well and is well made. Got it as an Open Box and it worked just fine.

If you're looking to add a 2nd monitor to your current computer, this will do it. Be aware, I could not use this and my VGA at the same time. So one monitor can be this and your other your HDMI port on the computer.

This came in extremely handy for my second monitor, so I wouldn't have to buy a $50+ plug. Instead I used the HDMI plug it came with plus this adapter to plug into my graphics card so the monitor to get picture.

What can I say? This is a pretty solid adapter that does what it I need it to do. I am using it to convert the HDMI output from a 2012 Mac Mini to a DVI-in for an old early-2000s Dell 20" flatscreen monitor. Works fine. It's a little bulky, but I'm not sure it could be that much smaller, really.

Not much to say about this item other than it works as advertised. I attached it to the back of my monitor (older Dell) and connected the HDMI to it and my Windows 10 Dell work laptop and was instantly greeted with tow working monitors.

I love this HDMI to DVI adapter I run multiple monitors on my desktop and came across this on Best Buy. I must say it worked like a charm no pixelation or disconnects of the monitor would definitely buy again!!!

I bought this item when visiting a family member whose TV didn't have HDMI ports. It was perfect for connecting the video signal from my PS4 to the TV. Keep in mind that DVI does not transmit audio, so you'll need to find another way to connect audio if you need it.

Allowed older monitor to be used on newer laptop with hdmi

Had to use to convert an old Dell monitor for use with HDMI on my computer. Set up was easy, just plug into the Dell and HDMI into the adapter and then to my computer.

Needed this adapter. My older computer has a video board with only DVI output, purchased a new monitor with only HDMI input. No evident loss of picture quality. Works as advertised.

Worked great to create a multi screen computer station utilizing older screens i had on hand with newer all in one! A little on the pricey side, but comparable to other adapters.

I cannot keep up with all of the cables, and adapters that are out there to keep everything connected. Looked at You Tube to connect my laptop with a HDMI port. This adapter did the job with a HDMI cable.

Purchased a new desktop but kept my existing monitor, this converter was a life saver since we hadn't noticed that the desktop only had HDMI connections. Works great, without the bulky wire that other converters have.
