It will charge 2 sets (4 total) and will pass through an additional USB charge to lets say your Pro Controller. The sliding in to charge seems a bit clunking and difficult at times but it does light up if you are connected and charging them. This company does a rather good job of making accessories for Nintendo and I would say they do a good job on most of their products.
