Overall the product does what it is expected to do however, it does not charge. The charging symbol appears but the phone does not charge.

the device did work a majority of the time but sometimes it would watch out or just cut out in the middle of a video or just not connect at all.

I really like this product, it was a lot less than the Samsung version of the same product and probably works just as well. I have not used the Samsung version so I don't know for sure. All I know is that this adapter works and works well. It was easy to connect to my S4 (must use the adapter that is included) and connect the micro USB to the MHL HDTV Adapter for power. It DOES NOT, however, charge your S4 while transferring video to an HDTV so make sure your battery is full if you intend to show a video or movie from your phone to the HDTV. Also, you will need an HDMI cable if you don't have an extra one lying around. I purchased the cheapest one I could find and it works great. I am VERY pleased with the Rocketfish MHL HDTV Adapter.

Product works well. Only negative is that it doesn't charge the phone very well

Cord to device too short. Wanted to U.S. TV screen to view gaming. Tablet device had to be too owe to TV to have successful experience.

Well this performs as expected. I did notice that the phone shows some lag when plugged in though but I'm not sure if that is related with this adapter or if all MHL adapters perform this way. All in all very happy with this purchase.

I purchased this adapter to use while RV camping. I connect it to my Samsung Galaxy S4. Setup was very simple. I haven't used it a whole lot yet. I've only tested it from my driveway. Seems to work pretty good, but at times it cuts out, possibly due to signal strength. The real test will be when we go camping. I'm hoping wherever we get a good cell signal we can watch some TV.

Great value for price! Bought this for Missionary living in Africa. They needed something small, lite and durable that would stand up to dusty environment but not cost a fortune. This adapter allows them great flexibility in primitive churches to display teaching materials from many different devices.

I was told by the tech that it would work on my Samsung 4. It didn't work.

Cord should be longer. Hard to work the phone while it is plugged in.

I am glad that I found this product at Best Buy for cheaper than what Radio Shack was offering it for. I never purchased it from Radio Shack because two different stores were out of stock for this item. I should have known that Best Buy would sell this type of product, but I had no idea about it. From now on I will start with Best Buy for all electrical components!
