I bought this to pair with a Bluetooth speaker I recently purchased. I decided to try the default generic drivers through windows, but (though the speaker was recognized) the drivers were inoperable. I took Windows up on their offer to update the driver online, but the problem persisted. With growing suspicion that it could be the speaker, I still had one more idea, so I attempted to install the drivers directly from the disc...I am now completely restoring my Windows 7. I only wish I could give this a more negative rating. If I hate you, please buy this.

Nothing works or is recognized. Disk doesn't install. Download stack installs but doesn't function. adapter doesn't identify anything. Win 7.

Save your money. This adapter is EXTREMELY finicky. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I tried everything even spent a half hour on the phone with Rocketfish support and THEY couldn't figure it out. It rarely finds Bluetooth devices...if it does it does not connect with them. Its faulty and even their support told me to bring it back to the store.

I could not get this to work with my cell phone on both a laptop and a desktop. Nice idea (compact) - but doesnt work.

Terrible product. It does not work with Windows 7, but I did not find that out until after I purchased it.

I spent hours trying to get this gismo to work. Then called support(in Mexico) which was not of much help(very poor language skills). He finally said product was faulty, but really he didn't understand what to do. Why doesn't this firm use Statewide support with someone who can speak English? Will return this and go outside of BestBuy to purchase another one. Not that impressed with Best Buy either.

Bought this after consulting with Best Buy rep, specfically for a wireless headset to link to a laptop. Device installs as a generic USB hub, not a bluetooth adapter. No bluetooth functionality becomes available and no links are possible. Very expensive adapter for no functionality or expanded use. WIll attempt to return to the store. Very disappointed that a specific recommendation was absolutely incorrect

I bought this Bluetooth adapter to be able to use a wireless headset for online gaming/chat. Installation was a breeze, connection to the BT headset was easy. The downside: at any distance greater than 6 inches from the adapter, the audio and voice was of poor quality. Ended up returning this and getting the ASUS USB-BT211 which works great!

As said in other reviews, it doesn't recognize my device. I installed the software many times, from the disk as well as the website, and it NEVER had all the tabs that were shown in the manual (including the one I needed). I would give it 0 or negative 1 if possible for all of my wasted time.

My pc started telling me a usb device was not recognized. I pulled out this Bluetooth adapter and it was almost too hot to touch. It's totally dead now. I've never had anything die like that before and I've been building computers and servers for 15 years!

Did not always allow me to connect to my Bose wireless speaker. Very "moody." Suddenly after 5 months, it just stopped working. Tried re-installing - didn't work. Expected more.

Worst customer support on the planet. Won't "pair" to Bose Sound Link as it is an "unsupported"device. Won't "pair" to HTC phones, they're "unsupported". I wonder what it supported?

For some unknown reason this device will install but not recognize anything. I,m running a Win7 premium laptop with all updates current.

Junk, move on to a brand name product. This does not work with many devices. It was not recognized by my HP computer nor my Canon printer.

This adapter does not work with windows 7 64-bit. Not on the list of compatible adapters for windows 7 64-bit on the windows website.

Tried on a new Surface Pro and it did not work. Contacted customer service and they did not even care! Returned!

Terrible product. Mine would not pair with any Bluetooth device right out of the package.

Setup software not compatable with Windows 8, download update also doesn't work.
