    I bought this surge protector to replace an APC unit that I have had for a few years. The old one was still lit as providing protection, but I bought the Rocketfish wall outlet protector for my sub-woofer so I decided that I should just go ahead and replace the strip that handles the other pieces of equipment in the system. I really like the look of the strip and the outlet spacing is better than the APC unit that it replaced.
