An abundance of joules and insurance coverage are bonuses that most do not offer. I would definitely buy these as gifts or just because they are what is needed to protect electronics.

Replacement Surge Protector

Usually these protectors will handle one good surge and then they need to be replaced, so this looked like a great replacement. High joules protection for a low price.

On/off button is flush with the rest of unit, but easy to press. Unobtrusive black design. Have not had an electrical "surge" to protect electronics from, but I assume that would work as described.

All plastic and plugs don't line up well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The features of this power strip are nice (2 x 2.1A USB charging ports) and 6+1 outlets (hence 3 stars), but the outlets and USB Type A hardware under the plastic cover don't necessarily line up well (e.g. crooked and/or offset, so sometimes the plug doesn't want to go in). My guess is that there are better products out there. Best Buy didn't have many to choose from with these features.

I use it for a tv set up within a tv stand where space is tight and for electric beds same situation tight space behind and under bed. It is working out very well in both situations.
