Only thing I could say in the negative was that pushing the prongs into the outlet itself was a bit tough.. overall great buy!!

It really does provides protection.

Surge protection in any room(s) of the house

My use is for protection of computer, television, stereo, dvd player and iPhone charging (there are 2 USB ports). Two lights indicate that protection is on and that the outlet itself is grounded. (Discovered that two outlets in one room were not grounded. Repaired them and ground was confirmed on both ground tester and this surge protector.) So far pleased with performance and peace of mind.
