It did cut the power when a lighting hit the power poll, all my electronics connected to it are still working fine so a definite must have if you want to keep you gadgets safe.

The build quality is super as is the joule rating. Most surge protectors in the sub 20 dollar range are flimsy with joule ratings of 600 to 800. Many don’t have usb connections either. These have it all - highly recommend.

I’ve lost many products due to this issue. I recommend this for plugging in your devices that can not handle a power surge. I have the game and the TV plugged into it. Then we got another for the computer and modem.

When we bought our television the sales associate was so nice and knowledgeable-we didn't want to spend a large amount of money on a protector, but on the other hand didn't want to risk damage to our new TV. This was what we told him and he recommended this protector. So far so good. It has a blue light that when on says protected grounded, so I will assume as long as we see that we are good to go.

The power switch is soft and does not click in to place when turning on and off. Concerned with a brush up will be turned off too easily. Seemed a little expensive. I think I may be able to find something just as good for less money. Very good overall versatility and quality.
