I just felt it was important to protect my investment for plugging it in to a surge protector since you never know when there will be a power surge or lightening etc. I am happy with my purchase and it even has 2 USB charging outlets included.

A power surge that's priceless

Power surge protectors are not meant to last a lifetime, but are only good for a certain number of surge hits. I was like what? I did not know that. Well, my 4k television is now protected in the lightning capital of the world. I will replace this in about 18 months but will not go without it!

I had an identical strip to this that saved my TV and computer. My girlfriend at the time accidentally spilled tea on the strip, and the strip fried and none of my components connected to it. HUGE fan of this product.

I use this to secure my home pc and related devices (monitors, audio gear). Would buy again.

Excellent Value!

I like have surge protection and the ability to have multiple devices plugged in at the same time. The usb chargers are a plus, although I really won't use those. I also like the last plug on the strip separated from the others to allow for a bigger charging head.

I really like the USB ports. I purchased this when it was on sale and though I am happy with the way it has works, I really wished I would have paid attention to the length of the cord. It is 5ft but for where I wanted to put it, I should have done 7ft cord.

The Rocketfish Surge Protector Strip was fried, but the TV, Cable box, Modem, VOIP phone box, and the phone itself were all un-scathed. I bought the replacement strip the next day. I recommend their products.
