It had a very bright blue light to indicate that it on. I bought this to plug my adjustable bedframe in, and I found the light to be too bright when sleeping. I had to put tape over the light to help block it.

I spent $4k on a new TV and sound bar and wall mount etc. Wasn't going to risk that over $40 for a new, up to date, surge protector. The extra one we all seem to have laying around was AT LEAST 15 years old so why not play it safe and upgrade to a new version that should better protect my investment
