Glad I did because technician said was great idea and used it for all my devices. Working great so far.

They have the best price for the protector. It has plenty of outlets and 2 USB ports for charging my cell phones.

Rockfish-7 outlet/USB ports surge protector

It didn't hurt that it was on sale for $23.95 from $39.95. All in all a great deal for a highly rated surge protector.

This fit the bill. It has 2 powered USB ports marked 5V/2.1 Amp. It is a 7 outlet strip with 1 outlet spaced further to accommodate a larger plug. It has a nice long cable to plug into the wall that terminated to a 3 prong plug that is oriented flatter (not flush) and off to the right and down (picture a "q" when plugged into outlet)
