The tv wil slide side to side. The only thing stopping it are stops at the end of the bracket and plastic clips on the bottom.

Gets the job done
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The mount itself was perfect for what I needed it to do but be warned there is absolutely no room behind the tv once you mount it so it makes it very difficult to interact with cables. Also when setting the tv in place you have to be very careful with the metal loops that keep the tv from being removed easily.
