I probably didn't shop around enough before purchasing this, but it's not like it's wildly over priced. Lag bolts are super sturdy and can probably hold any TV on the market today.

Also it's kind of expensive for what you get. I don't mind spending extra money as long as it's worth it. The 2 inch difference could lower the expected lifespan of my tv so this doesn't make any sense.

It works just fine but it probably cost $5 to make and they sell it for $99. Seems way over priced for something that has zero complexity.

It holds the TV on the wall as it was meant to. I gave it a "4" because it did not come with the proper accessories/hardware needed to mount it to the wall. It does come with hardware, but, after we got it home, we had to get additional hardware to mount it correctly.

I wasn't looking for anything grand, just a standard, fixed, mount. The sale price was the reason I went with this model. It is big/strong enough to hold my 47" TV and all is good.

Found the right size and it wound up to be an even exchange. Looks great on the wall and able to see the TV from the bed is great!! Thanks Best Buy for always having what we need!!
