It has a way smaller footprint than the dock that comes with your switch, and there’s no way for it to scratch your system’s screen since there’s no plastic obstructing the side of the dock.

One in the living room and one in the play room so you don't get kicked of the TV every time the kids want to play the switch. This dock is actually a little more user friendly than the one that comes with the switch.

I did not want to buy a second switch base which is expensive. This is so much better. Smaller, fits snug and goes away when not in use. Picture is good and it works well.

Our main dock is in our loft where the kids mainly play. We've had a few times where we wanted to bring it to the living room and everything has to been unhooked and moved. This dock gives us a great second dock and at a great price compared to the standard Nintendo branded dock. I wish it had more than one USB port, but other than that it's great for a second dock in the house. It works great, no video or audio problems. If we want to play a family game in the living room it's simple without having to move everything.

I like this dock bc I have it in a shelf and the switch fits in without having to pull the dock out to put it in the top. Works just fine so far!

After doing some research went with this. We have had no issues and have been using for a few weeks. I did notice the first time using it did take a few seconds for the display to load but since then no issues. Worth it to have my living room TV back and the kids can play the switch in another room.

I purchased this because the original docking station went out from Nintendo. Well this one works just as good. I have used the docking station to sync my xbox controller to the Switch, with the 8bitdo. Works beautifully although i would have like a USB-C charge port.
