It is good for traveling. Will not fit with a customized or protective plastic case that you install on the switch for protection.

Bring Your Own Switch BYOS

Perfect for lunchtime gaming, and since it’s already ready to go you just pop your own Switch on and get to it!

Excellent Travel Dock Choice

Recommend adding it for a second dock just for travel so you do not have to disconnect the dock that comes with the Switch especially if you have the wires managed through your entertainment system. It comes with its own AC adapter as well.

Rocketfish Brand is Good Stuff

The official docks from Nintendo are ridiculously overpriced. When looking at third-party peripherals and devices, it's common to see mostly negative feedback, because they usually are cheaply made junk. I've owned a set of Rocketfish component cables (with inline switch) for PS2/3, Wii, and Xbox360 for over 10 years. They are solidly constructed and have worked perfectly with three different consoles. I expect this product to hold up just as well. It is very early, but so far, so good.
