Docking station

This item here works just as good if not better than the original docking station. I highly recommend this as a back up if there is one ever needed for the Switch. Great product.

CHEAP alternative to the original.

Some notable exceptions though... If you have a protective or decorative case on your Switch, it will not fit this dock without removing the case first. Also, I noticed that while using the original dock, it would automatically turn the TV on and change to the active HDMI port on the TV automatically. This replacement dock will not do that and you'll have to turn the TV on and switch to the correct HDMI port via your TV remote/controls. I also noticed that the USB port did not charge my controller, not sure the reason for that. Other than that it still works as a real cheap additional dock if you want to be able to move your Switch from TV to TV without having to move the original dock as well. Personally, I'll probably be replacing this with another original Nintendo dock in the future and this will get put in a drawer as an emergency backup if a dock fails.

I use two of these docks to play my switch in the living room and bedroom. I prefer this dock to the original because I don't have to worry about scratching the surface of my switch.
