Great when I need to carry it back and forth from the original dock in the living room to the bedroom whenever I feel like resuming a game I was playing.

I tried all the troubleshooting I could find, and landed on I'd need to send it back for repair. I was skeptical of trying a different dock altogether, and happy to say it connected to the TV right away and haven't had an issue. An option I'd recommend looking into if faced with a similar situation.
