Have the insignia one for the regular switch and that one didnt run the switch oled at full resolution. The old insignia one had usb c for external power. This one has a barrel plug. Such a downgrade for otherwise a great product.

Just wish this product was more available since 2020 unable to find any gaming hardware.

Well, that concern was unfounded. It’s been great. No issues with overheating the console. I also love that it comes with the AC adapter. The OEM product directly from Nintendo does not.
