Works like a charm, easy setup to tv and charges great!

This dock is much sturdier than the dock that came with the switch. Easy to insert and remove the switch, but it still securely holds it in place. There is a tiny fan on the dock which can be heard when playing on mute, but it is not loud enough to be annoying. Only thing I would change in the design is to have the power supply be USB-C so that you could plug it directly into the switch if you want to charge and play without being docked.

Purchased this as an extra doc and to use on trips. Our first use was in a hotel. It worked perfectly, the family was able to play for a few hours each night and it was just like using the OEM docking station but smaller and easy to carry. You will need to purchase or have an HDMI cord for this. It will charge extra joy coms using the USB port just like the OEM. Perfect for a family with extra TVs but don't want extra systems, or for travel on those rainy days or at the grandparents. Easy to set up and use.

This is an amazing product! I bought it as a travel dock for my Nintendo Switch. It has a smaller footprint than the dock my Switch came with and easily fit in my Switch travel case. I highly recommend this product, especially if you are looking for a travel dock.

Considering that the official Nintendo one is almost $100 I would recommend this one always. I was surprised it worked, there was really nothing to it. It was simple, just plug the cables in, set your switch on it and you're done. You do get one (1) less USB port than the official one, but I rarely use the USB port. It also holds your switch well and doesn't feel like it will fall off easily. I would recommend it.

I found this on sale, so decided to give it a try. I thought it would be more convenient to have another docking station so I could just keep my main one plugged in at home, plus the added bonus of this one being more travel friendly. The size is fantastic, it’s much more portable than the one that comes with the console, and it works just as well, I’ve had no issues.

I bought this dockit so I wouldn't have to keep unplugging the orginal switch dockit everytime I went to visit my family. With this all I grab now is the switch itself and put it in my carrying case and head over. Its really compact and I like the design of it. I'd recommend this if you get tried of unplugging the original one or if you wanted to have an extra one just in case. It's worth it.

Why buy the official Nintendo product when you can have this officially licensed charging dock with all the same features for a little less money aesthetically I believe it looks better than the original charging dock. This kid does not include HDMI which is fine because most people have a bunch of those cables lying around. Which I’m sure contributes to the low price.

I got this dock so I didn't have to take my official OEM dock off the TV when I wanted to play at my desk. It has worked flawlessly. I have an original model Switch, and never had any power issues with it. More compact than the OEM dock, and since you don't pass the screen across sharp plastic like the OEM dock, there is no risk of scratching the screen

I’m all honesty. Nintendo should have designed their own switch done just like this. Simple yet very thoughtful as to where all the connections come out the back. And you can see the actual screen while docked. Plus at this price it’s amazing. I actually paid less because Bestbuy usually runs sales o. This unit. Ps- I had to replace 2 separate original Nintendo dock. I’m sure this will last longer than the original.

after the dock that came with my switch broke, i was so worried i wouldn’t be able to replace it. that same day, i bought this dock and it had served me well ever since! i actually ended up buying a second one for the convenience of not moving my dock from tv to tv. absolutely no issues to report- honestly, i like it better than the nintendo one! the design is much sleeker.

Was looking for a good additional dock alternative so I wouldn't have to keep hauling my setup between rooms when the family wanted to play Mario Party. This kit was just what I needed and best of all, it didn't cost anywhere near the price of an OEM dock from Nintendo. $25 vs $80 for the same functionality is a steal in my book. Would buy again. :)

This dock is almost perfect: small but durable size, comes with a power cord, reasonably priced, and simple to install. The only issue I have with this dock is the Switch will not fit with a case on it. In addition (but this does not affect me), there is only 1 port for a wired controller. If you need to attach more than one item, do not purchase. This dock is better than I expected.

Works, compact, easy to pack for travel and replaced the oem dock

Overall this is a good dock and is a lot less bulky compared to the Nintendo dock.the only reason it’s not 5 stars is because it doesn’t have an Ethernet/RJ45 network cable port and only one USB port. It does look nice and it’s pretty easy to dock with it.

This is potentially better than the one that comes with the Nintendo Switch. It's smaller, tighter fit and there's no chance of scratching the screen with this dock like there is with the Nintendo version. I've used this heavily over the past week with zero issue. Great product and amazing value.

It works great. Plugs into the TV and charges the Switch. It was hard to find it in stock anywhere but it is exactly what I needed and works flawlessly as intended. Really easy to plug in the Switch. Doesn't come with the HDMI cable needed but other than that it was a perfect purchase!

Our Nintendo dock had died after a year of light use. With anticipation that we might be snowed in, I wanted a new dock so hubby snd I could play Mario Party again. I was hesitant to by 3rd party, but felt confident buying from Best Buy. Works perfectly, and cheaper than the nintendo brand. We’ll see how it holds up!

Bought this to bring along on a family vacation without having to take apart my existing setup. Small size allowed it to pack easily, and it provided all the functionality I needed to hook the Switch up to hotel TVs. It is now installed on a spare TV to allow gaming where the exercise equipment is.

Works great...this is as good as the original switch dock or maybe even better at a fraction of the price. I wanted a 2nd docking station for in the motor home but didn’t want to spend the money for a nintendo version but with the price point on this one, I finally got one so I don’t have to move the docking station back and forth. It works great and slides in and out easily.
