Fit is better, it has substantial weight to it, feels solid and well built, finish is better, usb plugins are actually useful. My only complaint is the charge wire is proprietary on this, but would still get it again. Actually bought it for a second dock in another room so it wouldn’t have to go back and forth but wound up replacing the original and the OE went to the other room.

Cheaperr than the original

I don't know if it's an issue with the dock itself, but it doesn't wake up the switch when pressing a button on the wireless controller as it does on the original dock.

However it works great and I love having a traveling dock that I can take with me and use in different parts of the house.

It's a cheaper alternative and is way more compact than the original dock. The ports are also easier to reach on this one.

Good secondary dock

I'm not sure I would recommend this as a complete replacement for the original as it is not quite as secure, but to set up a switch in a secondary location, or on the go - this works great.
