Works just the same as it. Bought it as a secondary dock and to use with Taiko drum, and works great! Also has bonus of having better ventilation and occupying less space.

It's small and compact so it is easily portable. The fans are a bit loud but can't really notice unless you are right next to it. The dock portion is a bit tight so be careful if you have a screen protector on your Switch. This is all to be expected since it is not made by Nintendo.

This dock has worked great for us. Picture and sound quality are great and charges the switch without a problem. Plus the cost alot less then the Nintendo dock and your getting the same results.

It's smaller and a lot more portable. Only gripe is a very minor high pitched whine when the unit is docked. Not noticeable from across the room but you can hear it if it is near your bed.
