Thankfully, our closest Best Buy had this in stock. We were able to order it and it was ready to pick up within an hour. It works just like the Nintendo brand and connected to our soundbar without issue.

If either of those things is *essential* to you it might be worth springing for the Nintendo version. That said, neither of those things are essential to me so I am happy with the dock and would not hesitate to buy it again. The ability to have multiple docks in the house and use the same console between them is super slick.

I would recommend buying this as a replacement or a second travel dock. It also feels sturdy and fits the Nintendo Switch without touching the screen. It has all the same ports as the original top which is great! I would definitely recommend.
