Did not work like I had hoped

Not sure if it was my location, but I was well within the distance noted on the box. 1st use I had to place the antenna in a specific spot to even get a decent picture. 2nd time I tried it, it didn't even work. Finally gave up trying.

Ditching my over priced cable package. This antenna will be replacing my cable. I have over 45 channels in HD. Local news is all I care for. Everything else I can watch online. Do yourself a favor and save money and ditch over rated cable.

Works well. NIce to have the stand.

It's a nice passive antenna. NIce to have the stand, so you don't have mount it, or tape it to the wall. Works welll for me, but I'm close to the broadcast towers. if you're far way, you might need an active antenna.

Reasonably priced HDTV antenna. Picks up about have of the local channels. The channels that do come in look great. I probably need one with at least a 60 mile range.

Poor choice for a cinder block house

Decided to try out antena yesterday. My house is constructed of cinder blocks and double pane Windows. No channels downloaded with window closed. Added longer cable and placed in open window, received 9 channels, could watch 3 to them in English, others were either scrambled or in Spanish . Will take back to Store today for return.

this antenna is okay for finding channels near you with little to no effort. however, if you're looking for a high end TV antenna that can compete with the likes of the "mohu leaf", this isn't for you. this antenna doesn't come with an amplifier so the reception you pick up can't get better than placing/hanging it somewhere else. when I used it, the channels that were near by aired without a problem (sans an occasional digital hiccup or two). but with the mohu leaf, I could get these channels in better quality than cable and channels from outside my state.

I brought this home and tried it on several windows and places in the house. I was never able to get it to get as many channels as it said it would. It may work better for others. I returned it to the store.

I bought this antenna thinking I would get the same, if not more, channels than the others who also review this item. Sadly, that was not the case. On a good day, I get about 20 channels and some are kind of blurry. It does the job though!

This antenna worked well, but not quite as well as I had hoped. Maybe it was my area but I found myself having to constantly move it to get a consistently good signal on all of the main OTA channels. It's not terrible, but not great either.

I live in an area where the only internet provider has very low speeds. Because of nearby radio towers most providers will not install their services. Netgear has made it possible for me to stream.

Installed one of these antennas in each room so I can watch HDTV for free in addition to cable, get some channels that cable may not have as well as good for a backup in case cable ever goes out, technically cable compresses the signal and antennas signals are not compressed so can be even better than cable. This antenna receives up to 40+ channels I believe.

The antenna does as promised. Local channels can be seen fine. Some channels may fluctuate occasionally and be more difficult to receive. It may vary per location. Overall I am satisfied. Will get another one soon.

doesn't work at all unless it's in the window, then there's a lot of pixilation on about half of the channels I'm supposed to get. I'd be even unhappier if I didn't get it for half price.

Plugged it in, set it on a window sill, searched and got 49 channels the first time, 57 the next. Only about 25 come in loud and clear consistently. They're free, so no complaints. About 5 min. set up time.

Thinking of cutting the cord...well you should! You can get basic, local TV channels digitally, so stop paying a ton of money...instead save it to explore outside of the home or invest into your kids education!!!

This antenna provides an excellent HD picture on my HD TV. You may have to move it around the room until you get the most channels to view. I took one star away wishing it had a longer cord.

Might work better if not in apartment complex. Sporadic in evenings. Needs to be "reset" through available channels frequently and kept in specific spot in order to pick up channels at all. Saves money for a limited T.V. Viewer.
