40 miles, but no CBS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works better than an antenna that has an amplifier. I'm in zip code 60491 i get all Chicago stations but CBS.

Very basic, Very Weak Antenna with 20-Mile Range
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tested this antenna against 2 others: one from China that cost a little less and a $60 "50-Mile" Range amplified antenna. Even after installing an amplifier on this model, it's reception was worse than the cheap "window stick" antenna from the far east. Actually range was around 20 miles. The claims of more range are unverified, so don't be misled thinking you'll receive signals outside a city radius.

Not enough channels
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I guess my location doesn't have access to enough towers because I don't get the amount others get (no matter where I place the antennae). I got a maximum of 13 different channels that I would watch, i.e. not a Spanish, religious, or shopping channel, if I move the antennae to different locations while watching. (Some channels were repeats, so I only counted them once.)

Signal strength is not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not the easiest to set up. Took about 30 minutes to find a good location where it can have decent strength to receive a good picture.

Only picked up 4 channels.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna did not work well for me despite being about 30 miles from the television stations. If you live very far from the station, I’d suggest an amplified antenna.

Some Problems
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works good except for channel 11 which can be very spotty. Since that is the local NBC station that can be problematic at times.

Same reception as rabbit ear antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did not notice a difference between the wire rabbit ear antenna or this one. This one just looks more modern. For $20 I have a few stations to watch. Better than no TV. Still cuts out and interrupts when watching a show very often.
