I'm having a blast learning guitar with this game.

This game is neat, but it should probably tell you which fingers to use on which string as later on, they will likely change from your pointer.

Good idea, but lets face it...nothing in the world will ever teach you to play guitar overnight, or without a lot of dedicated effort.

I have to say that of all video games I purchased I my life Rock smith has brought me the most fulfillment and fun. I have owned an electric guitar for a long time, but never felt the desire to learn. I always felt like I needed classes to learn, yet expensive classes and having to work around someone else's schedule never appealed to me. This game does not suffer from either of those two things. The game is only 60 dollars, a fir price considering all the lessons and activities the game comes with. I can also learn on MY time, is so easy for me to pick up my guitar and start practicing before exercising or after getting home from work. The game is by no means flawless. The biggest issue I have had is having the game correctly pick up on the notes I play, and while not game breaking, sometimes it can be a little frustrating. Despite its flaws, I'll still give this game a five star rating, as I truly believe that if you want to learn how to play guitar, you must get this game.

It's a great game, very unique way to learn guitar, it has funny little guitar mini games which help you learn notes while having fun and all around is a great experience.. buying the remastered version was sketchy because the product info on this page is horrible. I was not sure if it included the cord that allows you to plug in your guitar but it did which was great, all around recommended for those that want to learn guitar during their free time

As you can guess by now, guitar games died out sadly but Rock smith still has much use. You can learn to play like a pro...bro. All you needed is your own electric guitar and your ready to go!!
