This device is everything I dreamed of in terms of a portable machine that plays my favorite games. I use PC Gamepass so I have access to so many games and this device is able to play them in very high fidelity.

Best handheld in the market right now. I like how the rog ally preforms and how a powerful it’s but the only down fall is the battery life. But it’s still my favorite device so for when it come to a portable gaming device.

The perfect device for on the go also fast and easy

I've had my ROG Ally for almost a year and it's been amazing. It's allowed me to finish games that because of work and just being a parent I wouldn't have been able to other wise. Hanging out on the couch with my wife after aomg hard day just gaming away while she's watching a show is so nice. Not to mention when we go out of town I get to still have my fun haha The battery life sucks though but from my understanding every handheld PC has horrible battery life(about an hour depending on settings). But besides battery life I still recommend this for those with buys lives or for those that travel. You won't forget it.

I bought this as a return but the only issue I see with it is that the buttons aren’t as sensitive as I’d like (and I’m not sure if that’s cuz it’s a return or if the buttons are just like that) Otherwise, I ABSOLUTELY love that it’s just a Windows machine in a fun skin. I’m even able to work on it lol it definitely has a learning curve and isn’t plug and play like a Switch; again, it’s a Windows machine with Windows OS on it. They didn’t even slim down the UI to make it feel more “hand held” like it’s just a PC. I’ve had no problem running any of my games even at their highest settings but the battery is a little short and it physically gets pretty hot (think like an old laptop from 2013)

Plays diablo 4 with ease! Maintains 50-60 fps at medium setting while plugged and running on turbo. Also you can use it as a personal heater lol this unit can put off some heat!! Fans a pretty quiet though

Overall great device Asus finally stepped up and the latest updates make this thing great. Definitely factor in the SD issue problem though because I believe it is hardware related.

It's a generally fun unit to use. Just be ready for it to not make sense 70% of your first 700 initial uses. Especially if you have kids whom you've used your personal email to set up gaming accounts on other devices to ensure they have access to gameplay. You may find yourself with a brand new unit ( second one cause the first one straight up overheated at the first startup) that is linked to your kids account and you have no idea how to remove it. When you finally do....there's still a lot to do. Then you find out it really doesn't link to PS5 games which.....cmon. But you can download Steam and EA among other things. But you never had plans to do that. So you do. Hey! Fallout: New Vegas??? Ok, I'm in.

Excellent handheld. I love it being a full Windows PC as well, makes it very easy to manage. I've had no issues with mine. And now I can play Diablo 4 anywhere instead of being stuck at a computer desk. Graphics and performance are great, screen is very crisp and bright.

I enjoy playing on my mobile pc, but the only issue I have with the item is the battery life and how hot it gets quickly. Which it is fun to utilize, but those are my only issues

Works beautifully! I love this thing. Easy to play docked or handheld, has been able to handle every game I've thrown at it with no problem. Just works.

I really enjoy everything so far about the Ally. It’s doing everything I wanted it for. It runs Fallen Order and Baldur’s Gate at a playable FPS. Only thing to bare in mind is the battery life could be better, but that’s about it

This device Is amazing for the price I got it for my only complain about it, is the short battery life but it's not the biggest deal. Id recommend this device to anyone who just wants to lounge around the house

Ally is very competitive gaming device with very good gaming capabilities. The storage should have been 1 Tb or higer as 512 GB gets filled up with just 5 to 6 gamesh.

One of the best Handheld Gaming PC out there overall aesthetics was sharp, cool, and sleek. Disliked the fact the shell around the machine was white I would have preferred the ROG Ally in a darker color like the eclipse grey color they use on their ROG Strix, and Scar Laptops. Performance is very good like how the embedded controller overrides all controls in windows and on games that don't use or have controller support. I think the storage could be better 512GB is not a lot for gaming anymore as most games take about 60-150GB to download and run.

I absolutely love my ally. It plays all my games beautifully. I have had some issues with it running hot, or sometimes the controlls glitching. Other than that it is an amazing device, I just wish the HDMI port was included instead of having to buy it separately.

Incredible device - my partner loves it! This thing is a force to be reckoned with, and its power and portability make it a must-have for anyone that loves gaming and needs to travel often.

The asus rog ally is like a dream come true. As someone who was very involved with the umpc market before it crashed over a decade ago. If you look past the sd card issue what the ally is capable of is amazing. Can't recommend more

Awesome handheld for that gaming session that cant wait while nature calls. Unplug, take it with you, finish that dungeon, wipe and done! Good specs for a few bucks less that other Windows handhelds while being a few bucks more than that OtherOS handheld gaming device.

Awesome device, love the screen resolution and quality. Would def recommend if you have a steam deck this one is a must try. Just don’t expect great battery life. Keep it plugged of bring a decen battery bank and you will be good to go.
