I have run Diablo IV on it as well as retro games through Steam assisted by EmuDeck. Such a great piece of hardware. I love that its full Windows 11 and can be tailored to your needs instead of being at the mercy of firmware updates from a single source. Armory Crate by ASUS is efficient enough and everything else can be handled in Windows. I recommend the $65 wall adapter that also serves as a go between for USB-C and HDMI. It is great if you want to dock the handheld from time to time. I’m seriously also considering thr external GPU for future updates to this portable gaming computer!

It runs everything very well, has a pretty good battery life. The storage is only 450 gig which is fine for the device, Im going to upgrade mine soon but overall a great device

This thing still blows my mind, and I've had it for a week. Just downloaded battlefield 2042 yesterday, and it plays it so well. I'm blown away at how convenient tech has gotten.

I'm seriously impressed with the ASUS ROG Ally handheld. This thing is a game-changer, and I'm not even exaggerating. The graphics are mind-blowing for a handheld device – it's like having a mini gaming PC in my hands. And guess what? It charges crazy fast too. No more waiting around to get back into action. The controls are buttery smooth, and I've lost track of time just diving into games on this thing. Plus, the design is just top-notch. It's sleek, it's modern, and it feels great to hold. Seriously, if you're into handheld gaming, the ASUS ROG Ally is where it's at. It's like ASUS read our minds and delivered the goods. Fast charging, killer graphics, and pure gaming awesomeness – what's not to love?

I've had my rog for about 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it. I'm not really a PC person - at least not right now - so getting a rog makes a ton of sense as my other "nintendo switch". I've also expanded the internal SSD so now I have approximately 2TB of storage instead of the original storage amount, and that makes a ton of difference! It does what it says and that's a wonderful thing. After upgrades and updates, I can control my mouse freely with my right stick and some keys - that's a nice little touch. If you happen to grab one that's open box but in great condition - like I did - it's 100% worth the money.

I like this so so much because it has great graphics and it's not so so easy to transport.

Works well and looks great and it is very comfortable to play but the only down side is of course the battery life

Before buying the ASUS ROG ALLY, I was very confident that there would be some bugs/issues early on with the device. As a PC gamer, I was very intrigued with this product since it was announced. For the most part, the ROG ALLY peforms fairly well. However, the latest bios update provided by ASUS has cut performance by 15-25%. In many games, that is a massive performance hit, even at the lowest settings. There is also some issues with deadzones on the controls. I am worried because ASUS made a widespread announcment that the deadzone issue is equivalent to that of compeititor brands. A response like that hase very worried by how much adequate updates this ASUS product will receive. Overall, games such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare have performed exceptionally well. Many games that do not peform very well such as Hogwarts Legacy are not at fault of ASUS but poor game optimization. The ROG ALLY surely has great ambiitons, but one just has to wonder, will ASUS do their part in porperly updating this down the road?

One of the best purchases I've made in a while, if you're looking for something to travel or walk around the house and game. It works perfect. Also, if you get the dock it works great as a gaming computer.

Let me just say this is one one the most innovative pieces of tech in a long time.High end gaming at the palm of your hands!Will require alot of updates at first but once you get past that its truly a joy to play...

Other than windows being jank, it's a great pc handheld! Played my games well and I didn't run into to many issues. The battery could be better and the asus interface needs some finessing, but if it's on sale and you don't already have a pc handheld then this is a great option.

Other the the sd card slot being an issue, which i knew about ahead of time, i love this device. Plays anything i throw at it and feels great when holding.

I bought this handheld for my birthday and I think its decent, but after a software update from ASUS there has been a pretty annoying software bug. Whenever you use the Legacy Command Menu that was replaced by a new menu, and you open the menu to switch power options, it bugs the controls and switches between Desktop controls and Gamepad controls and it gets annoying when i'm unable to control my game. Second bug i have notice is when I play a game, at certain random intervals it would boot me to the home screen of Windows. This is only recommended at cheap prices or when on sale.

Love this thing. it has definitely been one of my best purchases. I bought the asus adapter from best buy also and together I have a gaming pc and regular computer for regular tasks. Love this thing.

best gaming device I've ever owned. so portable and very useful.

To be fair, the ROG Ally is a very good gaming handheld but after using for a few days I returned it and got a full refund (thank you Best Buy!). The system just didn't feel right and using Windows on such a small screen was unpleasant. But that was me so don't be dissuaded by my impressions. In many ways it's superior to the Steam Deck that I ultimately ended up buying.

I have all the consoles, a desktop and a laptop PC so I'm familiar with gaming on Windows. The original setup is easy if you rememner it's a hand held PC. I recommend hooking the Ally up to a docking station to run windows updates, install steam, game pass etc. and after that you will be ready to roll. Price is great when on sale, and I hear the SD card slot overheats and destroys your SD cards. Those are my only reasons for 4 stars and not 5. Oh and yes it plays Modern Warfare III.

Absolutely everything I wanted and more. Yes, the battery life leaves something to be desired, but I haven’t glitched out of any games. I have played Overwatch 2 online with no lag +60 FPS. Can’t wait for more!
